This really is a wonderful place Titchwell is very close to Hunstanton ,Norfolk. Its very flat and an easy walk The main path leads to the beach which is a great place to sit and watch the migrant birds come in to rest and refuel
Starlings,Brent Geese,Cranes,Pinkfooted Geese,Black tailed Godwits can be seen in abundance as you walk along the path to the beach and hides. To the right as you walk the path there are both salt water and fresh water habitats crammed with wildlife.
Very lucky to see a water Rail pointed out by some of the brilliant birders on the trip, other birds included Redshanks,Curlew,Avocets,Heron,Snipe and Lapwing.
On the right side of the path you can see the Marsh Harriers,in the distance along with Kestrels and some incoming migrants
The sky was great but was very difficult to take images of the birds of prey ,but what a day .Worth getting up at 3.30 and driving to Norfolk.
Great photos and great read! X
