Pura vida or pure life.

My last post about Costa Rica. When you live in London and all that entails it is hard to write any descriptive superlatives for such a fantastic place; a place I will be visiting again soon.

It was the end of November 2019 when we made our visit, towards the end of the rainy season. The Christmas trees were up ready for the festivities to come .As an amateur photographer, there were incredible vistas to shoot as well as opportunities for taking photos of wildlife and flora.I hope the following photos will do it justice.

The places visited included San Jose, the capital, visiting the National museum and the National theatre.

Our 3* hotel was villa Lapas close to the Tarcoles river. We visited the national Park of Manuel Antonio, Carara National park,The pacific ariel tram and the Tarcoles boat trip.

On day 7 we travelled to the Tilajari hotel. Our stay included crocodile and bird safaris,a rainforest walk, a lava trails walk at the Arenal Volcano ,a Penas Blancos boat trip, and a  canopy walk . We also visited La Fortuna hot springs and enjoyed the opportunity to to see how a local Costa Rican family live. Note that some charges were made on the trips and for guides.

Great trip; if you look at this and you have any questions ,I will be pleased to answer them (if I can). Some bird and wildlife photos will follow.
